FFW: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England vs Spain -World Cup Final, ahem, Nations League game

Could we have possibly wished for a better opening game in the Nations League? A chance to give Spain the shoeing that they should've had in the World Cup Final back in July (had we not fallen to Argentina in the semi).
Not only that, its a chance to avenge the travesty that was defeat to Spain in the 2024 Euros Final...
Make no mistake - this is a game not to be missed.
Afterwards we'll have a wander down the parade and find a few more bars to continue the evening on.

If you haven't experienced it before, there is absolutely nothing like a patriotic pub atmosphere for an England game.
The noise.. the electric tension and buzzing energy, the passionate ROAR when a goal is scored - followed quickly by that tingly feeling all over your body that makes the hairs on the back of your neck all stand up. (or is that just me?)

So why sit at home on the sofa watching it and cheering to yourself in an otherwise silent living-room, when you can stand proudly among your countrymen and countrywomen in the pub, passionately supporting "this green and pleasant land", your devoted home on this crazy planet - and cheering old England on to victory.

The White Horse has a big load of TV's inside and a few more outside, making it great for viewing sports events like this one, so it doesn't matter where we position ourselves and in what room - viewing spots will be in abundance. We'll try to gather a little bit ahead of kick-off, say our hellos, get a drink and decide which TV(s) we're going to gawp at for this super important game.
Keep an eye out for any tables without reserved signs on!

For previous England games, the White Horse have closed their doors shortly after kick-off, refusing access to anyone else. So you are strongly advised to get in the door as early as possible.
Deepest sympathies to those who don't read event descriptions and turn up late and oblivious to this warning.

Important Note..
The start time of this event is 7pm, which is 45 minutes before kick-off.
For the games in July, some people decided to arrive at the pub 5 minutes before kick-off thinking lateness for the advertised meetup start-time would be ok - by which time (as predicted and as warned) the doors had been locked and they were turned away.
Lateness is disrespectful.
For this event it is not an option.
