DAY 2 CAMP FTG Open Gaming Marathon @ Burton Island State Park

Do you ever wish you could have a gaming marathon in the great outdoors?? Now you can!!! Join us for CAMP FTG 2023!!! This event is open to ANY MEMBERS wishing to join us for NON-OVERNIGHT open gaming at Burton Island State Park! Come whenever you'd like, leave before the last ferry back @ 6 PM! I will bring a large bug-netted tent (as you an see in the photo), tables, and games. Bring a camping chair, any snacks/drinks you would like, and your favorite games to enjoy an open gaming marathon on an Island!

BURTON ISLAND IS A REAL ISLAND ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN AND IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT!!! You will need to park your car at Kill Kare State Park, which is a short boat ride away from Burton Island. If you don't have a boat, you can take the Island Runner Ferry to get to the island. The ferry costs $8 for Day Use visitors (Round Trip fare). Contact Kill Kare or Burton Island State Parks to reserve your ferry ride. THERE IS NO POWER OR CELL SERVICE/INTERNET AVAILABLE AT THE CAMPSITE!!! Consider it an opportunity to truly disconnect and get in touch with your inner-gamer :)

Burton Island is a State Park facility, so it has most of the amenities you would see at any other VT state park. This includes rest rooms, hiking trails, a nature center, and Burton Island even has a full service bistro on site! The Burton Island Bistro serves breakfast and lunch from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM daily.
