CANCELLED. (Wine Tasting! A 3 mile walk around Puttenham)

Sorry I'm going have to cancel the event. I have an operation the day before and then an overnight stay in hospital and recommended two full days no work and very little activity. I will run it later in the summer.

Well, that got your attention!

This event is ACTUALLY a 3 mile walk (from St John the Baptist church in Puttenham) going to the Greyfriars Vineyard shop (for tea and coffee, toilets available) and maybe buying bottles of wine before heading back.

Actually THERE IS wine tasting though it costs about £22. (However, if you were certain to buy a bottle you could ASK if you could have a taste! I'll leave that to the individual and their friendly power of persuasion!)

Meet outside St John The Baptist church, The Street, Puttenham GU3 1AR) Park along The Street opposite the church. This is a short walk but mainly on rough paths. It IS wheelchair accessible though there are uphill parts and mountain-bike wheels are advisable. DOGS welcome.

There are NO public toilets at the start. I would recommend using one of the two petrol stations along the A31 Hog's Back (near Tongham).

Look out for me in a yellow hi-vis vest.
