Legend has it that Chop Suey was invented at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel by the chef of the visiting Chinese ambassador on August 29th 1896. Whether you celebrate this day or not, why not come out to the New York International Table Tennis Center for a Ping Pong, Karaoke and Dance Party.
Come on down, play some Ping Pong, Sing some Karaoke (English or Asian) and then Dance the night away.
The cost is only $12 per person which will include the above entertainment plus Salad, Dessert & light refreshments.
Everyone is asked to bring a dish of food and some Beer, Wine or Sake.
Singles are preferred, but everyone is welcome.
The festivities will be from 8 PM until Midnight.
Subway directions:
Take the 7 Train to the Main Street Station (last stop). Walk on Main Street towards Northern Boulevard. Cross Northern Boulevard and turn right at Northern Blvd. Turn left at Farrington Street. Turn left at 35th Avenue. The club is much closer to Farrington Street than Prince Street. NYITTC is situated in the middle of the block on the left hand side.
