What we’re about
First Social Network is a locally supported social organization of LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer +) people seeking a greater connection to their community. This is not a dating site. This is a collaboration where the LGBTQ+ members can meet, develop friendships, relationships, socialize, and network to expand their personal and professional connections within the NW and Portland/Metro areas.
This social site is comprised of two major social opportunities:
First Saturday is a monthly event that offers a hosted social -- often as a potluck at different locations. Always remember to respect and honor our hosts.
Weekly this group adds exciting opportunities to our social calendar. Events offer experiences in dining out, movies, happy-hours, city walks/hikes etc. allowing for a greater variation and accessibility to activities and socializing. These interactions are for all members to enjoy and feel free to participate.
This Meet Up organization is supported by both men and women from all walks of life and levels of experiences. It is imperative that we respect our differences as well as our sameness.
Let's help make Portland's LGBTQ+ Community stand strong and proud as people of diversity, strength and as a welcoming foundation for all new and current members who call the Northwest home.
