Adventurous hike in Jizera Mountains
Metro B Cerny most Bus Terminal, Chlumecka, Prague, CZHello Adventurers,
Crisp and (hopefully) dry autumn days are back. Join me this Saturday for a walk across Jizera mountains. This time our highest peak will be Holubník (1071m) from where there should be a breathtaking view. Add wooden trails, ridge walk, primeval forests, and maybe even some waterfalls (?) What’s not to like?
And because we like them adventures, and days are short, we might finish the hike after sunset. Bring a headlamp :)
If you are not feeling so adventurous, there will be an option to shorten the hike at about 22km and take a local bus back to Liberec. This bus runs hourly.

Trail: Walking
Grade: It should be ridge walk, gradual climb followed by gradual descent. Pace 4-5km/hour

MAP• Getting there and back:
→We will take a RegioJet bus at 8am to Liberec from Praha,,Černý Most bus terminal, and then local train to Hejnice. Estimated start of the hike ~10:10 AM
← We will finish our hike in Liberec and take either RegioJet or FlixBus back to Prague, depending what time we return.
Please buy your own ticket to Liberec. We can buy a group ticket for the train.• What to bring
-Comfortable hiking footwear with good grip
-Headlamp!!!
-Layers, layers, layers. Sunny weather is forecast (for now), warm during day, freezing in the morning/ evening
-Waterproof and sunscreen
-Tea/coffee/water/snacks & lunch to keep you going
