Granite trail and quarries of Skuteč. Hike&Swim – 30km

Hello Adventurers,

Next Sunday should be nice and toasty, perfect for a dip, or two, or more. We will go to a former granite trail where extensive extraction took place in dozens of larger and smaller quarries, now abandoned, filled with crystal clear water. In some, bathing is allowed, while the others, we will admire from distance. And before we do, we will stretch our legs for some 30km through the countryside before we soak our tired feet.

• Getting there and back:
→We will take the 7:47 RJ 1003 RegioJet + Os 5307 train from Praha Hl.N to Vrbatův Kostelec with a change in Pardubice. We should start our hike before 10am.

← We will finish our hike back in Vrbatův Kostelec and probably take the 19:22 Os 5314 + rj 370 Vindobona train back to Prague.

-Swimsuit, sunscreen, towel
-Comfortable hiking footwear with good grip. Mud is very much expected
-Layers, layers, layers
-Waterproof
-Tick repellent
-Tea/coffee/water/snacks & lunch to keep you going
