Are you interested in being on the water in Santa Monica bay and beyond? Do you want to explore the Southern California coast as well as Catalina and the Channel Islands? Then join me! I recently moved my 42’ power boat from the Pacific Northwest to Marina Del Rey and I am looking for new friends to crew with me and make memories on the water. No boating or sailing experience needed but a willingness to learn and have fun. All are welcome who love the sea. You should be reasonably fit, comfortable on the ocean. Bring your smiles and your sense of adventure and join us! In this group we organize boating outings and sometimes multi day cruises on my boat or on other member’s boats. There are no fees or other compensation expected, this is strictly for fun. You must be an adult and be prepared to meet new friends and have fun on the water. If you are a boat owner who wants to join us you are welcome and we will plan flotilla trips. Please DM your boat’s detail. For those that want to learn we will teach basic navigation and seamanship. Some of our trips will provide opportunities for observing wild life such as dolphins, whales and more as well as hiking and boat camping for those in the mood. This is a new group and we will start planning specific events once our membership is established.
