Silhouettes in the City

Join us for our next meetup in Canary Wharf, where we’ll focus on the art of silhouette photography, capturing striking scenes where the subject is underexposed against a well-lit background.

We’ll look for moments where the strong architecture and hard light of the city help create high-contrast compositions. This technique works best in full sun, but it can also be achieved on cloudy days by carefully framing the subject in shadow and exposing for the brighter part of the scene.
