Friends Forest Tour #23 - Waterfall Glen

For July, let’s visit the southeast corner of DuPage county with Waterfall Glen. This hike will have two parts, a short hike to the small waterfall (half a mile round trip,) and then a longer hike to a scenic overlook west of the waterfall parking lot (4 miles round trip.)

All in this hike will be about 4.5 miles and the plan is to be hiking between 9:05am-11am. We will be doing the waterfall hike first for those that want to just see the waterfall.

I will be scouting any brunch locations for those interested. If anyone has any recommendations somewhere close to the preserve please let me know!

For newer members, you don’t need to register/sign up if bringing a guest, everyone is welcome! I use the signups to gauge if we have enough parking lot spaces. Waterfall Glen has plenty of parking spaces for a big group.
