Friends Forest Tour #24!!! - McDowell Grove #2

Next month is our 24th Monthly Hike!! It has been 2 years since we kicked off this hiking group, and what an amazing time it has been!

To celebrate, we are going to head back to McDowell Grove and take the north trail this time. Last August we hiked the southern trail here. For those that made the 1st year anniversary hike, you will get a new perspective this August! (The featured picture is from our 1st hike here)

For this hike I plan to follow the west branch dupage river trail from McDowell Grove up to Ferry Rd. and then head back. Depending on our time we may hike a smaller trail on the way back and see Mud Lake.

This hike will range between 3.5-4 miles and we should be hiking from 9:05am to sometime up until 10:30ish.
