Friends Forest Tour #25 - Greene Valley #2

Let’s head back to Greene Valley for our September hike!

We last hiked the west trails here in June of 2024. This time around we are going to explore the east trails of the preserve, and maybe enjoy some cooler weather.

This hike will go for about 3 / 3.5 miles between 9:05-10:30am.

After this hike there is a potenial optional scenic overlook that we can drive up to from the parking lot after the hike. This overlook is open on the weekends for the next few months. However it may be closed without notice due to potential contruction, maintenance, or weather. So let’s keep our fingers crossed for our hike that it is open!

Finally if this is your first at hike, you don’t need to signup and you can bring friends! I use the signups as a soft head count for permits and parking lot needs. The parking lot for this hike is more than adequate for a large group.
