Friends Forest Tour #33 - Willowbrook @ DuPage Wildlife Center

For our May hike we are headed to the newly reopened and rebranded DuPage Wildlife center. Its old name Willowbrook is still used for the trails behind the center.

This location used to be in the DuPage trail guide, but has been absent since the area went under construction.

The trails here are on the smaller side like some of our other hikes, so we will loop them 3-4 times over an hour.

Instead of the optional brunch after the hike I wanted to take in the DuPage Wildlife Center this month. This project has been a major focus of the forest preserve over the last few years.

I expect to spend about 20-30 minutes at the center after our hike ends!
