Celebrate spring at Albany’s annual Tulip Festival in historic Washington Park. Enjoy the city’s Dutch heritage traditions, browse handmade crafts from nearly 100 artisans, explore the fine arts show, savor local foods, and experience two stages of live entertainment. Wander through a stunning display of 140,000 tulips in 150 varieties, making the park burst with color. Then visit the New York State Museum, featuring engaging exhibitions on the cultural and natural history of New York through art, science, and storytelling.

Lunch is on your own, you can buy lunch at Tulip Festival, at rest stop in morning or pack a lunch.

Queen of the Night, A Musical Tribute to Whitney Houston is a stunning celebration of the music and life of one of the greatest singers of our time, Whitney Houston. Queen of the Night conveys the essence and persona of Whitney with an afternoon of exhilarating music. This tribute showcases all the fan favorite songs, Greatest Love of All, I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, How Will I Know?, You Give Good Love, to name a few. With the accompaniment of a live band, backing vocalists and choreographed dancers, Queen of the Night is a beautifully crafted tribute to one of the world’s most revered singers. # Peabody Essex Museum- Located in the heart of downtown Salem, Massachusetts, the Peabody Essex Museum is Salem’s museum of art and culture, with exhibitions that explore everything from witch trials history to nature and science

Salem Witch Museum- The Salem Witch Museum examines one of the most enduring and emotional events in American history: the Salem witch trials of 1692. The museum consists of two presentations. The first provides an immersive look into the events of 1692. Visitors experience the drama of that dark time though thirteen life-size stage sets, figures, lighting, and narration as they are witness to the web of lies and intrigue of the trials. The second exhibit, Witches: Evolving Perceptions, explores the meaning behind the word witch and evolution of the image of the witch over time. This presentation focuses on the European witch trials, discusses the emergence of the stereotypical witch, and explores the phenomenon of witch-hunting. Visitors are guided through the space by one of our docents and able to peruse a selection of artifacts and informational panels while learning about this fascinating history.
