The Italian experience (Providence RI) Boston Whale Watching and Aquarium

Day 1 we travel to Providence RI
The Italian experience is a delightful outing that combines a walking food tour in one of America’s top five “Little Italys” - https://www.travelandleisure.com/best-little-italy-neighborhoods-us-7853085 with a beautiful glide down the Providence River on a venetian gondola, while your gondolier serenades you with Italian love songs. The walking food tour features 3 Italian markets, a pizza place, and a bakery. The menu consists of:

• Meatballs and marinara
• Pizza
• Eggplant parmigiana
• Chicken cacciatore
• Pastry of their choice

This is a legitimate lunch – not a tasting. No one leaves hungry! 😊
The walking food tour itself takes about an hour and a half (all the stops are very close to each other, so there is a minimal amount of walking – anyone can do it), and then we give a half hour for people to shop on their own in the markets, in case there is something they would like to take home. After the food tour, we ride on the tour bus down to the Providence River, where we meet the gondoliers (about 5 minutes away). Each gondola can hold six people, and they can have 4 gondolas going at the same time. So, this outing works best with 48 people or less. If you have 24 people or less, they will all ride the gondolas at the same time. If you have 25-48 people, the first group will go on the gondolas, while group B is taken to see a couple of sights, and then they will switch places. The gondola ride is 30 minutes. The whole experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours.

We may not make a dinner stop depending on when the Tour starts and ends. After we arrive at hotel we may go to go to casino if your interested or you can stay at hotel.

Day 2 After breakfast at hotel we will leave early for Boston We will take a Whale Watch Cruise and visit the New England Aquarium.
