Day trip to Maastricht

Planned itinerary:

08:15 Meet at Düsseldorf Hbf on the platform RE4 is departing from. Please check the app on the day of travel.
08:21 Take RE4 to Herzogenrath
09:30 Take RE18 from Herzogenrath to Maastricht
10:10 Arrive in Maastricht and explore the city. In case of rain, we will plan an indoor activity (probably an underground tour, tickets are 9,75€ per person) and spend less time outside.
14:00 Lunch at a local restaurant
16:53 Take the train back to Düsseldorf
19:39 Arrival at Düsseldorf Hbf

If you have a Deutschland ticket, the cost for the train ticket will be 11,20€ one way and can be booked on the day of travel.
