Friends in the Shires

You should join us if you want to widen your circle of friends and have fun. Most of our members are 50+ but we are open to anyone and aim to have a wide variety of social events across the North Gloucestershire area.

We are a Branch of The Oddfellows, one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK. Through friendship and social events, we help our members get more enjoyment out of life, and offer care, advice and support in times of need.

Our Branch holds regular get-togethers including talks, walks, dine arounds, tai chi, meditation, group short breaks, cinema trips, demonstrations, quizzes and more to help our members have fun, stay active and make friends.
