The Summer Solstice Celebration has evolved into creative and original display of floats, giant puppets, whimsical costumes and masks of more than 1,000 parade participants, of all ethnic and economic backgrounds. There is dancing, music, drumming and drama that enthralls the spectators!!
On Saturday June 21st, at 12 PM-2 PM, the Parade will begin at the intersection of Santa Barbara and Ortega Streets. The parade will travel up Santa Barbara Street ending at the Summer Solstice Festival at Alameda Park on Sola Street.
The Festival is FREE, and open to the public and will include a full musical lineup on both days (Reggae Sunday) as well as a variety of food and merchant vendors. This is where our booth will be. A beer and wine garden will be open both days to those 21 & over.
