You’re Invited — All Are Welcome!
Join volunteers, sponsors, and friends of the Boundary Waters Advisory Committee for our Annual Meeting & Volunteer Recognition Dinner in West St. Paul. We'll celebrate our 2025 accomplishments on and off the trail, recognize the incredible dedication of our volunteers, and get a sneak peek at upcoming spring events and trail clearing trips.
The annual meeting portion of the evening will include a review of BWAC’s financial status and voting on the slate of Board of Directors. The evening will conclude with a door prize raffle, generously donated by our sponsors.

Keynote Speaker. BWAC is pleased to welcome Aaron Kania, recently retired Kawishiwi District Ranger, Superior National Forest, as our keynote speaker. Aaron is an engaging speaker and a passionate advocate for the Boundary Waters, its resources, and its past and future. During Aaron’s tenure as District Ranger, he prioritized transparency and community engagement while addressing critical issues such as fire policy, treaty rights, budget challenges and forest ecosystems. Aaron will share his experience and perspective, "Looking into the Crystal Ball: the Power of Public Service Advocates."

Dinner. Again this year catering will be rustic Italian fare from the popular Prima restaurant, bringing fresh and tasty dining specialties to South Minneapolis patrons since 1999.

Cost. The $15.00 per person cost offsets venue rental and catering. Thank you.

Can’t attend in person? The event will be live streamed on our Facebook page so you can still join us from afar.
