What we’re about
Friends of Community Media is a non-profit corporation serving the Kansas City area devoted to improving the content and accessibility of the media. It is FCM’s belief that the foundation of a successful society and the catalyst to all positive change is informed and active citizens. FCM works to support locally-based, objectively-minded media producers; promote diverse, community-responsive programming; and advocate for under-covered, investigative reporting.
