HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Winter is here. The snow is here too. Maybe we will still have some snow (LOL). Come and see all the changes in the air and on the ground always occurring here at Dyken Pond.

This hike will start at the nature center and meander around a little of the Cherry Trace and Mary McFalls trails leading to Dustin Swamp. We will do a moderate pace and cover about 3 miles of the various trails leading to and from Dustin.

As of this writing, snowshoes will be necessary. If you need to rent, the cost is $5. Please arrive early to have snowshoes fitted to your boots.

We take your safety seriously during this time. Trek is limited to 15 individuals so please sign up early.

Additional details will follow.

Hope to see you then. Stay safe and healthy.

PLEASE, IF YOU SIGN UP BUT CAN'T MAKE IT, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR STATUS HERE, THANKS.

Questions or comments may be directed to the Dyken Pond Center at (518) 658-2055 or Len Tremblay at (518) 429-0393.

As of this posting, Dyken Pond Road is in great shape but snow covered. Take this into consideration if attending. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is still highly recommended.
