Welcome to Friends of Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, a community for kindhearted people who care about animals, the planet, and making a difference together!
Founded by Lisa Miskella, creator of Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary in Connecticut, this group was formed to bring together animal lovers, volunteers, and compassionate individuals who want to connect, learn, and help create a kinder world for all beings.
Our Goal:
To build a circle of friends who support Freedom Farm’s mission — rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong care to abused and neglected farm animals — while fostering compassion, conservation, and community engagement.
Who We’re Hoping to Meet:
• Animal advocates and nature lovers
• Volunteers and supporters who want to get involved
• Families, students, and professionals interested in humane education
• Anyone who believes every animal deserves love and respect
What We’ll Do at Our Events:
