Gold Butte Speaker Series: Snakes of Gold Butte

Join the Friends of Gold Butte as we partner with the Virgin River Coalition and the City of Mesquite Arts and Leisure Services to bring you this special informative and entertaining speaker series!

Matt Flores, Wildlife Diversity Biologist with the Nevada Department of Wildlife, will discuss the snake species a person could encounter in Gold Butte National Monument, how to identify them once they are encountered, and some information about their natural history and biology.

This portion of our series will be presented at the Mesquite City Hall in the City Council chambers, where you may attend in person and view the presentation on the big screen there. In-person attendees will have a chance to win a door prize, so if you're local, please join us. You may also opt to watch it via Zoom, and the link will be provided below when you register.

For those of you coming to City Hall, the address is 10 E. Mesquite Blvd. in Mesquite NV, and you'll come in the front entrance and then go upstairs to the council chambers. There is no charge for this presentation, and you are welcome to just show up. If you're not local or you'd like to view it in your own home via Zoom, you'll need to register below.
