Maidenhead PaddleFest

Details

Please join us for Maidenhead PaddleFest, a celebration of canoeing and kayaking along the restored York Stream through Maidenhead town centre. The event is supported by Paddle UK.
We will be paddling in a canoe cavalcade along the waterway, with canoes, kayaks, inflatables and paddle boards all welcome. You will need your own boat.
This is a flat easy paddle on calm water, about 2km there and back. Please wear suitable clothing including river shoes or trainers, along with buoyancy aid. Take part at your own risk.
Meet at Town Moor car park Blackamoor Lane, Maidenhead SL68RH (pay via Ringo app). Please note the 2.1 metre height barrier at the entrance. You may need to unload a boat from the roof before entering. Street parking is also available.
If you don't have a boat, canoe hire is available at discounted rates from https://www.myoutdooradventure.co.uk/book-paddling-adventure if you quote PaddleFest in your inquiry.
Alternatively you are welcome to join us on a free boat ride from 1100 on our maintenance boats on a first come first served basis.
