Maidenhead Canoe Club taster session

Maidenhead Canoe Club has just been launched and is open to new members. Join us for a taster session to try out a two person canoe or sit-on-top kayak. Most boats are doubles so you will probably share with another person. Bring a friend if you wish (though indicate this below). Canoes, paddles and buoyancy aids are provided.
You will be in a small group with a qualified coach, paddling on calm sheltered water. Beginners are welcome.
There is no clubhouse and no changing facilities so arrive 1845 ready for the water at 1900. Wear comfortable clothing including sturdy footwear, such as river shoes or trainers.
Taster sessions cost £10. If you join the club after a taster session you can do so at a reduced rate of £15, saving £5 on annual membership (which is currently £20). The club is run by Friends of Maidenhead Waterways, which is a charity.
Club membership will allow you to take part in club paddles on Monday evenings and other events.

Places are limited and booking is essential. If it's booked up, please join the wait list and watch for updates. If anyone drops out, there may be a late space available. There will be further taster sessions in coming weeks.
