Bray Cut river clean Maidenhead

Please help us remove the litter from Bray Cut at Braywick Park, Maidenhead

Sadly this precious river next to a nature reserve is strewn with bottles, cans and plastic. This is bad for wildlife and for water quality. Our plan is to remove the rubbish and recycle it.

Working with Maidenhead Canoe Club and RBWM's nature team, canoeists on the water with litter grabbers will scoop up the rubbish. The a bank team will sort it and take it for recycling.

Volunteers on the bank will also have litter grabbers to pull out any rubbish.

Meet 0930 in the car park at Desborough Bowling Club at 10 Green Lane, Maidenhead SL6 1XZ. Wear clothes suitable for working outdoors and sturdy footwear.

All tools and gloves provided, as well as refreshments. Walk or cycle to this event if you can.

We have a few parking spaces at Desborough Bowling Club. Park on the far left near the entrance. We will need some volunteers with cars to take some rubbish to the tip for recycling. Finish midday.
