## Meeting Place: Aquatic Center

This week we will start at the pool, do some quick clean up in the garden there to pull the nettle and sedge that has popped up, and then head to the CCC field to address the beautyberry that is blocking the brick walkway.

In general, we typically work in the park managing the gardens, installing new plants, transplanting and weeding to keep the park looking good and healthy. No experience required. Bring your favorite garden tools, kneeling pad and gloves. You may also want to bring water and a light snack. As you accumulate volunteer hours it will allow you to earn a state-wide park pass and other rewards.
