## Meeting Place: Visitor Center Parking Lot

This week we will do some winter seed sowing in preparation for next year's planting season.

PLEASE NOTE: This will be our last official meet up until January 8.

In general, we typically work in the park managing the gardens, installing new plants, transplanting and weeding to keep the park looking good and healthy. No experience required. Bring your favorite garden tools, kneeling pad and gloves. You may also want to bring water and a light snack. As you accumulate volunteer hours it will allow you to earn a state-wide park pass and other rewards.
Come and help us knowing your efforts will enhance Pocahontas State Park today and for generations to come.
