Join the Office of Volunteerism for a fun and informative introduction to volunteering at Pocahontas State Park!

Discover how you can give back to one of Virginia’s most beloved parks while learning about the many ways volunteers make a difference.
Attendees will:

• Learn how, where, and when to volunteer at Pocahontas State Park
• Explore how the park partners with the Friends of Pocahontas State Park and the Virginia Master Naturalists.
• Discover the benefits of being a Virginia State Parks volunteer
• Gain a clear understanding of volunteer guidelines, expectations, and safety practices

Coffee and light snacks will be provided as you connect with park staff and fellow volunteers. We hope you’ll join us!
