## UPDATE! Meeting Place: Visitor Center

Due to the rain we will be meeting this morning at the Visitor Center to discuss our newly approved 2026 budget and the new plan that was recently proposed for ID signs for the large native plant garden.

In general, we typically work in the park managing the gardens, installing new plants, transplanting and weeding to keep the park looking good and healthy. No experience required. Bring your favorite garden tools, kneeling pad and gloves. You may also want to bring water and a light snack. As you accumulate volunteer hours it will allow you to earn a state-wide park pass and other rewards.
Come and help us knowing your efforts will enhance Pocahontas State Park today and for generations to come.
