Walk with Potomac Valley Samoyed Club in St Patrick’s Parade

All Samoyed owners — and your Samoyeds — are invited to join the Potomac Valley Samoyed Club’s marching unit in the 42nd Annual Ballyshaner’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia. The parade is on Saturday, March 1st and we need everyone in our staging area between 11:00-11:30a. The parade kicks off at 12:30p.
We are in “Division 4” and our staging area will be Prince Street — between Washington St. and St. Asaph.
It is fun — like a rolling Flash Mob! Please use a leash 6-feet or shorter (no flexi-leads) and St. Patrick’s-themed festive attire for peops and pups is encouraged!
Because streets along the parade route will be closed off starting at 9:30 am, give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to the staging area. We recommend parking in one of the public parking lots or garages. Street parking is easiest west of Washington Street.
