Trail Days - Name that Climbing Route Hike

If you are interested in learning more about Rock Climbing at Stone Mountain State Park, then this is the hike for you!

Join members of the Stone Mountain Friends Group and the Carolina Climbers Coalition on a hike to Cedar Rock, where you can see the entire South Face. The main goal of this hike is to observe and learn the names of the climbing routes from a distance. We will be using both printed and digital resources. Bring binoculars so you can see the different climbing routes from across the valley. The hike will begin at the Lower Trail Head Parking Lot.

The total hiking distance will be 3 miles with a total of 800 feet of elevation change.
