Volunteer Trail Workday

Join Friends of Stone Mountain for a volunteer workday clearing invasive species this Sunday in Stone Mountain State Park. A park ranger will join us to provide education on the various invasive species. We will be focusing on removing downed limbs and other general trail hazards. We hope to see you out at the park this Sunday to help make a positive difference.

Please meet at the horse trail parking lot, which is closest to the Longbottom entrance on the dirt road. The event will start at 9am. Volunteers should bring gloves, water, snacks and loppers if they have them. Friends of Stone Mountain will have extra pairs of gloves and loppers to provide if needed.
