Join the Friends of Tall Pines State Preserve on June 6 as we celebrate National Trails Day and mark the 10th anniversary of the creation of Tall Pines State Preserve. We will gather in the main parking lot at 1:00 PM. We will be operating a welcome table and giving short talks about the Preserve's history and plans for the future. The Friends will then lead attendees on a nature hike in the Preserve, pointing out natural features, spring wildflowers, trees, birds, insects and other wildlife. Most trails are paved.
After the hike, light refreshments will be served in the parking lot. This event is free and open to the public. The rain date is Sunday, June 7th.
