Famosa Slough – 40 Years of Challenges, Opportunities, and Connections
Details
Join the Friends of Famosa Slough as they share 40 Years of Challenges and Opportunities in the Southwest corner of Mission Bay.
Famosa Slough is at the Southwest corner of Mission Bay and the Friends of Famosa Slough have been caring for this beautiful place for 40 years.
Please welcome our partners in protecting wild places around Mission Bay for this amazing opportunity to learn from those who have been doing it longer than the Friends of Rose Creek. Plus they will share some connections between Famosa Slough and Rose Creek. You don’t want to miss this presentation leading up to their 40 year anniversary in April 2026.
Meetings take place at UC San Diego’s Henter Education Center in Kendall-Frost Mission Bay Marsh Reserve.
