WHAT IS THIS GROUP ABOUT ?
Friends of TED is a group for people that enjoy respectful discussions on thought-provoking topics and themes - scientific and spiritual, emotional and uplifting, terrifying and eye-opening. The kind of topics that are often highlighted in TED talks.

We sometimes discuss provocative questions that rouse strong views, but we discuss them in an environment of open acceptance and learning.

That means listening and appreciating points of view, and not just opposing, but adding to the discussion with more thoughts. It means sharing ideas, meeting interesting people, and going home with a richer perspective.

For each session we will propose a topic. There is no one speaker at the event - you are the listeners and speakers!

You don’t have to read up on the topic or watch the proposed TED talks, but it could help. Please let us know if you’re coming
