Border Route Trail: Spring Clearing Trip, Clearwater Lake

Arrive: Thursday, May 15 for early start May 16, 2025
Depart: Sunday, May 18, 2025

I am planning a wilderness trail clearing trip to the Watap Lake
area of the BRT. We will canoe in and base camp at the western
most camp site on Clearwater Lake Friday morning May 16 and
take a short hike to the trail. BRTA will furnish permits, canoes,
life jackets, paddles, tools (no power tools allowed), gloves,
helmets, and goggles. Since this is a wilderness trip you will
need to furnish your own food and cookware, tent, water
treatment, rain gear and proper clothing. Car pooling is
encouraged. No training or special skills required other than
ability to work hard and have fun. I will share details on meet-
up and departure location when we have the group signed up.

Please complete the Volunteer in Parks form. In the unlikely
event of an injury this ensures workers comp coverage.
