August work day - please read full description before sign up

Friends of Ute Pass Trails will be hosting another trail work day on Saturday August 16th. Come out and play in the dirt with us! Unlike other meet-up groups, this is a two step process for sign-up. You will need to email friendsofutepass@gmail.com to sign up and then also reserve a spot on the meet-up page.

When you email friendsofutepass@gmail.com, our president, Rocco, will ask you about your experience level (people with no trail experience are very welcome) and also what types of work you may or may not be comfortable with. He will give you the location and time to meet that day. Usually we go from 8am to 1pm and then provide you a free lunch, typically at the Pantry in Green Mountain Falls. But the meeting time might be different, so get that from Rocco. You should bring work gloves, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and long pants for our adventure. Please be prepared to meet some wonderful people, have a lot of fun and maybe learn something new.
