Join us for a day ride through Alamo and Ash Springs to Caliente.
We'll stop at the Train Museum, and picnic in Kershaw-Ryan State Park.
Families and Friends are welcome, coming in your car is OK.

Weather will be cool to warm as we go through various elevations - bring layered clothing. Bring comfy shoes for a short walk/hike - several short trails between .5 and 2 miles.

The Group Day use area #1 has been reserved for our group - this includes a covered picnic area, BBQ, games and other amenities.

This is one of my favorite hidden gems near Vegas!

Entrance Fee is $5, or, better yet, use your NEVADA STATE Park Pass.

Several options to enjoy your lunch in our reserved picnic area:

  1. You are welcome to BBQ - includes running water.
  2. You can bring your lunch :)
  3. You can Pick up lunch at Ash Springs - our gas stop - the grill has good food
  4. you can Pre-order your lunch at Side Car Cafe in Caliente - 2 miles from the park - and pick up on the way to the park.
