Having Fun with Friends! What do you do when one friend is busy and the other is away? A good solution is to create opportunities to do new things and make friends with common interests. This group is to create fun events with creative people who are living along Steeles, from North York, Thornhill and Vaughan. The purpose is to give people in this area an opportunity to build friendships and socialize with others who share common hobbies or crafts. Some events will be about dinner and a movie, karaoke time, potluck picnic / barbeque in a local park. We will keep it local but when the weather is nice and the days are longer we can travel farther to enjoy concerts or performances in the city. Some of our events will focus on crafts such as sewing, paper, wood, clay or beading crafts. An afternoon event to learn how to create flower arrangements...we want your suggestions and ideas to make this group fun for all involved. We welcome musicians of any kind and an event for a musical afternoon or evening can be arranged so those of you who are willing can show off your talent and entertain the group. We will learn and teach so if you feel you haven’t got a talent or gift to share join us anyways to learn about something new. Just bring an open mind and an appreciation for creativity and art. This group is for self-expression and creative people! For those who enjoy Dining, House Parties, Concerts, Games, Comedy, Movies, Day Trips & More! P.S. The goal is to meet-up once a month or more in the summer. This group will thrive if individuals are willing to attend once or twice a month. Your RSVP means a lot to the group so we ask that only people who are serious about attending RSVP.
