Easy Hike & Pot Luck Picnic at Wadsworth Falls

Calling All FTM Members!

Come join us for an easy, social hike & potluck picnic! The hike will take about an hour and a half, staying mostly on the wide, main trail, with the short trek down to view the Small Falls optional (total 2.35 miles). There are some gentle inclines, but the focus will be on viewing nature together over speed.

We will follow up with a picnic, feel free to bring something to share with others. This is a great location with picnic tables and bathroom facilities. Dogs are welcome if safe for others and can be kept under your control.

There is also a small beach with swimming and a place to change in case you would like to throw on your bathing suit after and take a dip - I do not know what the water quality will be though, but it is posted at the location.

Please note that if the weather is cloudy or potential light rain, I will still plan on going. It will be canceled only if heavy rain or thunderstorms are in the forecast.

We will start moving AT 9:30am, so please be on time. Be sure to bring water and appropriate footwear. Note that the start location is NOT the small lot next to the falls and train tracks, instead use 721 Wadsworth St in Middletown to reach the correct lot.
