Limited Addition works with nearly a dozen vineyards and twenty different grape varieties to craft low intervention cool climate wines of distinction and character in the Willamette Valley.
Limited Addition wines was born out of the conviction that Oregon’s Willamette Valley was an exceptional winegrowing region capable of growing many high-quality global grape varieties not yet planted, or even imagined here...yet.
Varieties that would suit the regions changing climate and be capable of making naturally farmed, naturally made wines, expanding the growing season, varietal diversity and build the regions resilience to climate change.
We believe that by changing the landscape of vineyards throughout the valley, every person involved in the wine industry has an opportunity for more- from the growers to the wineries themselves.7 attendees

We believe in “Esprit de Corps,” a sense of shared pride, fellowship, and loyalty
Dave Paige has been part of the west coast wine industry for over 30 years. He began his career in California before heading north to Oregon and settling at famed Adelsheim Vineyards in the Willamette Valley, where he spent nearly two decades as Winemaker. There he honed the skills to craft the distinctive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that are the valley’s hallmark.
In 2018, Dave decided he wanted to try his hand at creating his own label and began looking around the Willamette Valley for vineyard property he could take on to create his own winery. Separately, two friends in Indiana—one with roots in Oregon—were discussing creating a winery of their own.
After many years of friendship, John Gorup and George Rickus began their own search for a vineyard and winery to purchase in the Willamette Valley in early 2018. For them, the right opportunity was predicated on finding a solid long-term investment, in a business they could feel passionate about, and having fun while doing so. A formal search process was initiated by George, who grew up in Oregon and still has family in the Willamette Valley. A series of mutual acquaintances introduced George to Dave Paige, and soon Dave became a third partner in the process (or perhaps John and George became Dave’s second and third partners). As George likes to joke, it took two weeks to find Dave, and another six months trying to find someone who could say anything bad about him. He couldn’t—everyone in the valley seemed to know and love David Paige.
Now working as a team, the three families toured the valley looking for the right property. They were especially excited by the Eola-Amity Hills; the wines were some of the most distinctive in the valley, epitomizing the connection between the land and the wine for which the Willamette Valley is known. Together, they found a beautiful site with mature vines on a volcanic ridge and rechristened it RPG Vineyard, combining their three last initials. This would be the home of David Paige Wines.
Staying true to what drew them all here, their aim is to create great wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that have classic character and highlight the terroir from which they are grown. They reinforce the status of Oregon wine country as one of the top areas on the planet for growing cool climate varieties.10 attendees

We are focused on creating wines of elegance and balance that reflect the appellations and vineyards from which the grapes are sourced.
Denison Cellars is the winemaking passion of Tim and Denise Wilson. Having lived in many different wine regions – from Washington state to the Central Coast of California – it was their love of pinot noir that brought them to the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Launched with the 2009 vintage, Denison Cellars truly is a boutique winery, as annual production averages only 1,000 cases. Winemaker Tim Wilson is committed to producing wines with a focus on purity of fruit while showcasing the attributes that make each vineyard unique. This commitment is accomplished through Tim’s identification of exceptional grapes sourced from small, sustainably-farmed vineyards within and throughout the Willamette Valley. Focus is placed on producing small lots of ultra-premium wines showcasing the Willamette Valley’s extraordinary appellations and vineyards. Denison Cellars is located in McMinnville, Oregon in the heart of the Willamette Valley.12 attendees

For more than 27 years, Dave Jachter owned and operated several successful car dealerships in Oregon. You may recall his tag line “And That’s No Bull!” His innovative approaches and commitment to local communities saw him through a successful career and impressive awards in the auto industry, including Time magazine’s Dealer of the Year nomination. Through those decades, Dave cultivated a passion for wine, and a cellar to match. Dave sold his car businesses recently and decided that, instead of retiring, he would turn to the world of wine. In addition to being a Northwest wine fan, Dave has travelled to France, Italy, and California wine regions, and tasted wines from around the world. He studied at UC Davis, completing a variety of viticultural courses to refine his expertise and he bought a beautiful piece of land. He and his wife, Karen, purchased 120 acres in the Chehalem Mountains AVA in the heart of the Willamette Valley.
For the first four vintages (2019 - 2022), Dave and winemaker Jared sourced fruit from neighboring vineyards with likeminded sustainable and organic farming practices. Dave's first estate vintage from his 17.91 planted acres was in 2023 and he also just finished building a state-of-the-art winery and barrel room set to open Summer 2024.
Perhaps we all can remember exactly when we fell in love with wine. For Dave, his fascination for wine was ignited in 1975. After finishing final college exams, he and a buddy headed to a fine restaurant and asked the waiter to bring to the table a good red wine. “How about a GREAT red wine?” asked the server. It was a Château de Beaucastel, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (often said to be among the greatest wines of France). A passion was born, and Dave was forever hooked on wine! His goal now is to produce the finest quality Oregon wines possible.
Dave will continue his generous work in public service in his new endeavor. He and Karen are firm believers in giving back to the community. Dave and Karen intend to donate a large percentage of all profits from Jachter Family Wines to the local community. Visit Jachter Family Wines website, www.jachterwine.com, to keep up with progress and their grand opening. It will be one to remember, and as Dave would say “And That’s No Bull!”12 attendees
