Coffee and Conversation: A Casual Photography Hangout

Let’s put the cameras down and catch up over coffee or a drink! This is a relaxed, informal get-together to chat about photography, share stories, ideas, projects and inspiration: no gear needed.

Whether you’re brand new to photography or have years of experience, you’re welcome to join. We’ll talk about anything from creative blocks and editing techniques to photo books and dream projects.

The meetup will be structured as a speed connect session to maximize the chance for everyone to meet and mingle. We’ll pair up for short, timed chats before rotating so that by the end of the session, you’ll have had a chance to connect with most (if not all) of the group.

Uou can find some suggested prompts to keep conversations flowing and photography-focused:

• What camera do you prefare to take pictures?
• Do you have a favourite focal length?
• What’s your favorite photo you’ve ever taken?
• What photographer inspires you the most?
• Can you show me your favorite recent shot on your phone?
• What kind of photography do you want to try next?

This is also a great chance to connect more deeply with the group, get to know other members, and maybe even spark ideas for future shoots.
