St Albans: Streets, Spires & Stories
Details
Join us for our next meetup at St Albans!
Itinerary
- Meet at the museum entrance — we’ll start with a walk along the market/high street to warm up and get the shots flowing
- Clock Tower — a great early stop with plenty of angles and street life around it
- The Narrow Passage — a tucked-away route leading towards the cathedral grounds, well worth exploring slowly
- Monastery Gateway — a hidden gem and great architectural subject
- St Albans Cathedral — one of the finest in England, stunning both inside and out
- Ye Olde Fighting Cocks — reportedly one of the oldest pubs in England (est. 793 AD!), perfect for a quick stop and some characterful shots
- Flexible finish — depending on timing and light, we’ll choose between Verulamium Park, the ruins of Sopwell Nunnery (magical at golden hour), or a wander through the surrounding old streets
Bring your any camera (digital, analog, phone or video), and let’s see what we can capture!
