We are taking a trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory to get just that. We are going to see their annual spring flower show! I have been to this show several times and it is absolutely beautiful.
If you have never been to the Conservatory, this is your chance. It is one of Chicago's hidden gems! The place is just beautiful! Later in the spring we will return when we can go to the outside gardens.

To kill the winter blahs though, the Conservatory is just the medicine that we all need!
We will start out in Arlington Heights and form a car pool. From there, we will go to the conservatory. We will spend about 2.5 hours there and then possibly eat lunch there or together as a group, choose where to have lunch.
PHOTOGRAPHY BUFFS--DON'T forget your cameras! Some of the most beautiful pictures that I have taken are from this conservatory. They are treasures in my collection.
ADMISSION IS FREE!!!! They have a beautiful gift shop so if you want to do a little shopping you will have to check it out!
