Social group for Brisbane Mid Northside Area. Females & males, aged 45+.
A social outing among peers boosts happiness levels and provides a sense of belonging, community and friendship.
But just 'joining' meetup groups won't give you a social life. To find friends you need to attend in person. We welcome volunteers ideas and to host events of your choice, so you can meet people with common interests- simply direct message group organiser.

Confidence is a muscle that grows with use.
Socializing is easy when done regularly, and challenging when you stay home. Our members are welcoming and supportive. We've all been there, you're only new once - so make that leap and come along.
Humans need to meet 3 times to feel comfortable. Aim to talk to everyone at the event so they get to know, and you them.
We are volunteers so if things don't go to plan - that's life - just enjoy it!
Make our life easier by offering to host an event of your choosing.

Guests aged 45+ are welcome at some events BUT please DON'T sit together so you both mingle with different people / you may meet non-meetup members at activities. Please catchup with family and non-meetup friends, privately and not at our group events.

RULES: Members join events at own risk, organizer holds no liability personal or monetary if a price changes. Organizers will remove members at their discretion e.g.:

• Predatory or undesirable behavior. if you form a bond with someone good luck to you, but This is definitely NOT a dating, swingers, or hookup site.
• Mobiles to stay out of sight except for photographs or calendar.
• Image must be Headshot taken within last 10 years so we can recognize you.
• Don't RSVP unless you will attend. Multiple RSVP then cancelling = removal.
• Do update RSVP from 'going' to 'not going' at least 48 hours before the event*(as both the above actions prevent others getting a place in time to plan their attendance.)*
• Non-participation. Attending less than 3 events per year = removal
• Residing outside the Brisbane North middle catchment area.
