Friendship, in practice
Details
Friendship is not just something we think about or talk about. It’s something we live, in small, everyday ways.
For this gathering, we’ll explore what friendship looks like in practice. How we show up for our friends, what feels easy, what takes effort, and where things sometimes feel out of sync.
We’ll start with a simple prompt to get us going. You’re welcome to share, or just listen. There’s no expectation to have it all figured out or to say anything perfectly.
A simple flow for the evening:
We’ll begin with brief introductions, move into a round of sharing, and then open it up for a more natural conversation as different perspectives emerge.
What to expect:
A small group, a thoughtful and grounded space, and a chance to reflect on how we participate in our friendships.
What to bring:
Nothing in particular. Just yourself, and a willingness to listen and share if you feel comfortable.
We will be meeting at The Screaming Parrots Cafe. There is free parking with validation in the garage located behind the building.
If you’re able, consider supporting the café by purchasing a drink or snack.
I’ll arrive a little early and grab a spot for the group so we’re easy to find.
If this is something you’ve been thinking about, even quietly, you’ll likely feel at home here.
