In case you missed out on the chance to walk 20 miles around the park with us, we're doing it again!

After the weather forced us off the trails last Saturday, we did the walk on Sunday and had a great time. It took 10 hours. Eight of us started at headquarters and followed the path below in a counter-clockwise direction. Six of us finished.

There were a couple of people who couldn't reschedule to Sunday, however, and several of us had so much fun, we want to do it again!

If you come, you will certainly want to bring plenty of food and water on this epic journey. We posted a car at the park's East entrance from Long Pond Road in Plymouth, which is at the 11-14 mile point (we had some disagreement as to how far it was from headquarters) with extra water and I plan to do that again.

This is not a good hike for first time hikers. Twenty miles is a very long way. Please let us know what kind of recent long distance (10+ mile) hiking experiences you have had. (A question will pop up when you RSVP.)
