Dog Walk Saturday

• What we'll do

Bring your dogs out with us for a couple of hours walking in the forest. (Dogs not required.)

Meet at headquarters and we will drive over to Cutterfields Road at 1:15.

Plan to be out for a couple of hours. We don't walk fast.

• What to bring- Bring water and snacks for you and your dog.

• Important to know- DCR regulations require dogs to be on leash. You must have a leash for your dog and be able to control it when it is off leash. Cleaning up after your dog is also appreciated.

New regulations are coming for Wildlife Management Areas. MassWildlife will require all non-hunters to keep their dogs on leashes and to clean up after their dogs.

They held a public meeting on Tuesday, February 6th. 90% of the testimony came from hunters, who supported the new regulations (since they don't apply to hunters.)
