Changed to 11AM! A little off the top- Pine Barrens Restoration tour

Tour part of the pine barrens restoration area with us. We will start at the headquarters and head south on Southwest Line Road towards some areas already cut back by the DCR.

The DCR has announced a 10 year plan to restore the pine barrens in the area of Charge Pond and Fearing Pond.

We will tour some of the areas to be actively managed over the next 10 years. Paul Gregory, the DCR Forester, will join us for part of the tour.

Meet us at 11am for the hike start or join us at 10 for a cup of coffee and/or breakfast at the Panera Bread off Long Pond Road (near the Route 3 Exit 5.

There will be a public meeting on December 5th at the Myles Standish headquarters . (5pm at the barn up the road from HQ)
